PVS/ÜSPS Site Consolidation
The task of Hermos consisted in installing a process visualization- and control system for five partial plants. That meant integrating measurement technology and field devices via independent switchgears as well as realizing the whole process-, guidance technology- and fieldbus. In addition a superior process control tool had to be built up which should contain process planning and the creation of formulations.

Safety-oriented systems for Fire & Gas (F&G)
 
The PEMEX concern is owned by the Mexican state and its biggest company. PEMEX belongs with 28.3 billion Barrel of proved oil deposits to the world's biggest oil producers and expands steadily new deposits. Similarly new production plants are built up and the existent refineries are upgraded and modernized to improve performance and to guarantee environmental safeness.
The customer of Hermos, the Siemens AG, in cooperation with the Korean SK Engineering & Construction and the Mexican Groupo Tribasa accepted the bid for the expansion and renewal of the Francisco I. Madero refinery. The main order was the renewal of the process technology. Our sub-order covered the planning, delivery and start-up of the safety-oriented control systems as well as the higher ranking operator's panels. |
