Fresenius Kabi is the leading company in Europe in the range of infusion and dietetic treatment with sub companies and distribution partners worldwide. Aim of the project was to develop a modular built cost-effective control system for simple batch-processes,
which is based on standard modules being deposited in the SPS and developed according to generally defined guidelines whose operating sequences are deposited in the central computer that are started from there which enables to easily carry out technological changes, for example via process engineers, on the administrative level
The customer should be able to adapt technological changes in his process without depending on the special knowledge of the SPSand PC-programming.
In the case of changes in the R&I, for example by assembling an additional valve, it should be possible for the customer to smoothly integrate the valve in the SPS. Furthermore it should enable the customer to easily adjust the program in case of program rearrangements and consequently keep the validation costs as small as possible by attaching to validated modules. |
